These mugs were fired onsite in our gas kiln at Goshen’s historic Old Bag Factory. We begin the firing in the evening and leave it to warm up overnight. In the morning, we raise the temperature to 2100 F, then perform a series of intentional temperature holds and decreases throughout the day to affect the color quality of the pieces within. This glaze combination is available in three different styles (from left to right): straight-walled, standard, and lobed.
Lobed mugs stand about 4.5" tall and 2.5" wide at the lip.
Straight-walled mugs stand about 4" tall and 3.25" wide at the lip.
Standard mugs stand about 4.5" tall and 2.75" wide at the lip.
All Goertzen pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe.
