Collection: Wood-Fired Pottery
All of these pieces have been fired to 2400 degrees F using only wood to stoke the kiln every 12 to 15 minutes for approximately 60 hours.
The effects on the surface of the pot are created by the kiln's flames, which travel around the piece like water, and by wood ash that collects on the surface of the pot, melts, then hardens to form a glaze.
